Sorry about the unexpected downtime all day today, but it enabled us to take care of a real problem with tribe.net. Our SAN (storage area network) has been accumulating errors for about 3 or 4 years, and the move added the straw that broke the camel's back. The partition that held the database failed catastrophically, forced us to reformat that segment of the SAN and restore from backup.

Please expect Tribe.net to be down after 1am one or more nights this week to continue working on problems like this. We did just enough to get the site back today, but there is a lot more work to be done. We hope that things will be a lot more stable after our move to another colo provider!
